An encourager at heart, Leah DiPascal has spent more than two decades speaking, writing and introducing others to Jesus. She loves helping women learn how to engage, understand, and apply God’s Word to their busy and oftentimes stressful lives. Leah’s ambitious goal is for every woman to experience true freedom in Christ and to thrive in their unique life journey with Him.
As an experienced communicator, Leah has been a part of the Proverbs 31 Ministries team since 2006. She currently serves on their Writing Team creating content for Encouragement For Today Devotionals that reaches over 700,000 people each day. Leah is part of the launch team for the wildly popular and fast-growing First5 Mobile App, which has over 1.5 million downloads worldwide. You can find her teaching videos and curriculum content by downloading the app in the itunes store. Leah is also a contributing devotional writer for the NIV Real-Life Devotional Bible for Women and holds a Bachelor of Theology Degree and a Master of Divinity Degree from Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary.
With a desire to help others, Leah has developed over the years, several Bible teaching programs within a variety of settings like church plants, women’s conferences, megachurches, and community outreach venues. She has served in leadership roles through Moms In Prayer International, Stonecroft Ministries, Community Bible Study International and Women of Destiny.
Leah would honestly describe herself as a …
Jesus Follower. Impatient Wife. Over-Protective Mom. Bible Geek. Coffee Lover. Vacation Dreamer. Part-time Blogger. HGTV Fan. Compulsive Researcher. Soul Adventurer. Lifetime Learner.
Leah starts each day with a strong cup of coffee, an unrealistic to-do list (that she knows won’t get finished) and a half-hearted brainstorming session to figure out another way of fixing chicken for dinner. After some quiet time with Jesus, she tackles a little writing, a ton of laundry, a few errands and a trip to a local (and stinky) gym.
Hugs, kisses, and plenty of encouragement for her family are essential. Gathering with women in small or large groups to study God’s Word is a joy-booster for sure.
Helping her husband run a home-building business keeps Leah always guessing and oftentimes saying, now what?!?!?
She’s just an average gal who loves and follows after an extraordinary God.
Leah and her husband, Keith, have been married for over 30 years and live outside Charlotte where they fulfill their most important roles in raising their two sons, Brody and Carson.
