Hi Friend!
As 2015 comes to a close, I’ve decided to press the pause button and slow down a little. I’m taking time to reflect on all the events of this year as I ponder all that I’m thankful for.
A big part of my thank-FUL-ness is because of you!
Maybe we haven’t met in person, but I consider you an important part of my life and I’m so grateful God allowed our paths to intersect here on the blog.
I realize that just because we’re flipping our calendars to a new year, it doesn’t necessarily mean we get to toss our 2015 problems goodbye like New Years Eve confetti. Even though we’d like to!
The good news is that God in His all-surpassing glory and power is with us. And nothing will come our way in 2016 that we can’t handle with Him by our side.
Our family is taking a much needed break from the hustle of the holidays, but that doesn’t mean I’m taking a break from praying for you.
If you have a prayer request, feel free to leave a comment below so that I can be praying specifically for you and your family over the next two weeks.
(Note: if you’re reading this via email, click on the post title above then scroll down to leave a comment.)
Finally, may the love of Christ fill you with all hope and joy this holiday season as you rest in His presence and experience His glory around you.
Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!

Leah,
I have enjoyed getting to know you through your blog. Would you pray for my family and me. We need to vacate our current rental home by Sunday and we are still unclear where the Lord is providing a home. We were promised a place but then told we could not take our dog. Not taking the dog will be devastating to the 4 kids…enjoy me in watching God do the impossible!!

Please pray for my two daughters and me, that we can stay strong and trust in the Lord, while we wait for my prodigal husband to end his affair and return to us. Please also pray the God can touch my husband John’s heart, turn it from stone into flesh, and open his eyes to His truth. Thank you for joining me in prayer.

Hi Friends, I’ve prayed over each of your requests this morning and realize you are all going through some tough situations.
God knows your hurts and struggles. He is the source of your strength and joy in times of heartache and pain.
Continue to trust in Him and believe in faith that through Jesus your prayers are heard and tenderly taken care of by our Heavenly Father. He loves you and your loved ones more than we can fully comprehend!

Praying God’s peace and protection for you and your family. Please pray for my daughter who has turned away from God, for myself to be joyful and content with my life and not look at what others have.

Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to ask for prayer. I ask for peace and release of baggage and burdens. Please pray for strength in difficult days to come. Prayers for my mom, my son and my brother. Today, I feel so burdened with heartache and sadness.
Above everything else, God has blessed me and my family in many, many ways. Show me how to pray and to trust God. Thank you.

Merry Christmas Leah. I need prayer for our finances for our business. Things look bleak and my husband is going thru a depression because of it. I am concerned about his health and especially his heart. He has become withdrawn , angry and bitter thru this. I am having a hard time trying to keep things together. I don’t know what I would do if not for my Lord who gets me thru each day…

Merry Christmas Leah, and thank you for all of your words of inspiration. I very much enjoy reading your emails and they almost always align with what’s happening in my life, or an emotion I’m going through. I would like prayers for my daughter that she begins doing some internal inventory to see the harm her words and actions do, and I pray that God leads both of us to a good starting point in healing our relationship. Thank you for your prayers.

Thanks for all your interesting and inspiring messages this year. Blessings to you and your family for the new year. Please pray for my daughter who left home (Australia) today to go to Europe for a holiday. First time overseas and I am praying for safety and wonder and fun, for her to be able to see Gods beautiful creation and meet some of his precious children, for incredible memories to be made, and friendships shared. I am a Mum who is trying to leave it all with God and trust her to Him. Thanks for letting me share. Margie

Merry Christmas to you and your family, Leah. Please include my son Cameron in your prayers. After 7 years of drug addiction and a downward spiral, he is in jail in New Hampshire [far away from us in Michigan] on very serious drug charges. He is HIV positive and has Hepatitis C, and because he didn’t get treatment for so long he is very sick. As a mom, I feel so helpless. I pray daily for God to heal my son both physically and spiritually. Please help me pray.
