A dear friend of mine recently told me, “real wealth is having good health.”
I had never heard that statement before, but I completely agreed with her. And for days I pondered that statement and reflected on how many times I had taken my health for granted.
Over the years, I’ve watched as friends and family members battled heath issues. I, too, have had my share of health scares and just recently my older brother was diagnosed with a large brain tumor which required emergency surgery.
In fact, I’m sharing part of his story on Encouragement For Today this morning. If you’d like to read what happened, just click HERE.
Honestly, I don’t know why some people are instantly and miraculously healed and others are not. I wish there was a “formula” in the Bible that says a person just needs to do this … this … and this and they’re guaranteed 100% healing on the spot.
The truth is … God is the One doing the healing; not us.
We can find verses in Scripture that give us clues as to how God heals by examining Jesus’ healing power and miracles:
- Jesus healed by speaking the Word over a person.
- Jesus healed in response to the sick person’s faith.
- Jesus healed in response to others who displayed faith on behalf of the sick or dying.
- Jesus healed to reveal His Father’s glory
- Jesus healed in response to doing His Father’s will.
Whether we are praying for a friend, family member or for ourselves, we can apply these same principles.
We also may need to adjust our understanding of healing.
God decides how and when to heal a person. But regardless of the timing or method, God always heals His children who trust in Him.
I’ve had to make a shift in my thinking over the years and realize these truths. The learning process came through real-life experiences:
God used medicine and a team of highly-skilled doctors to miraculously heal my brother within days of his life-threatening diagnosis.
God healed my son, Brody, of a thyroid disease when he was an infant, but we had to wait 2 years for that miracle to come to fruition.
God miraculously healed my mother from Parkinson’s disease and dementia the moment she stepped out of this world and into Heaven.
All three of my loved ones were healed – in God’s way and timing – so that His glory would be revealed through their stories.
Are you or someone you know in need of a miracle or healing?
- Pray God’s Word as you ask for a miracle
- Praise God in faith as you wait for your miracle
- Pray for God’s perfect will to be done in the midst of your miracle
- Pray that God would be glorified through your miracle
I’ve listed some verses below, which I hope will strengthen your faith and encourage you today, as you wait on God to do the miraculous in your life.
Psalm 30:2, “O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you restored my health.”
Psalm 103:3, “He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.”
Proverbs 3:7-8, “Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear {reverence} the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.”
Proverbs 4:20-22, “My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them.
Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.”
Proverbs 14:30a, “A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body.”
Ecclesiastes 11:10a, “Refuse to worry, and keep your body healthy.”
Mark 2:5/10-12, “Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “My child, your sins are forgiven.” … Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home! And the man jumped up, grabbed his mat, and walked out through the stunned onlookers. They were all amazed and praised God, exclaiming, “We’ve never seen anything like this before!”
Mark 5:34, “Jesus said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”
John 14:13-14, “You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!”
Acts 19:11-12, “God gave Paul the power to perform unusual miracles. When handkerchiefs or aprons that had merely touched his skin were placed on sick people, they were healed of their diseases, and evil spirits were expelled.”
James 5:13-15, “Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.”
James 5:16, “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”

My brother Che has been sick for over 2 weeks, they are saying he has a tumor in his brain or abscess, please pray for healing. ..
Leah DiPascal says
Hanna, getting this kind of news can be so scary. In order to stay strong for your brother, you will have stay strong in your faith and rely on God to provide and direct in what may feel like a helpless situation. I’m praying for Che today and also for you. May God’s peace and wisdom rest upon both of you as decisions are made and you move forward in the process.

Our Lord is telling us over and over to love Him with all our heart, soul, and strength in all circumstances. He chose not to remove us from this fallen world upon our rebirth in Him. Instead, He has given us the tools and the power to rise above our earthly existence and to fully embrace that while this life is temporary, He will use us mightily. Let us praise and glorify Him in all that we say and do in each and every moment of our lives, now and forevermore.

I have been in chronic pain for nearly 4 years. I have been at the bottom at times unable to sit longer than 5 minutes, unable to travel, sit through church and difficulty taking care of my kids. It has taken a long time to fully Trust God through this. My family as a whole was baptized last summer and I wanted that to be a symbol that I am unleashing my doubt and fully trusting him through this . God has been faithful and slowly is giving me pieces of my life back. Praise God. He has given me an unbelievable gift of thankfulness as I have never had before. I am so thankful for little things that he gives back it often brings me to tears. I will continue to trust him and pray for direction as I continue to follow my journey to healing .

Your story of healing, faith and your brother’s recovery is encouraging and interesting. At the same time, readling through all the comments, and knowing circumstances of people in my own life….I think most of us need help to deal with all the pain, healing and death that doesn’t seem to be directly affected by prayer. And all the people we know who are not Christians and who don’t have the hope of being with God in heaven when they die after suffering through many health trials.
I have been a Christian for aboout 15 years, I am Jewish….a Jew for Jesus. I am so so grateful for my faith in Jesus, and my Jewish inheritance and how perfectly they fit together. My faith is strong and hopefully will continue to grow as I pray, study the Bible in study groups and church. The strength, hope, growth and fellowship that has come to me from my faith in Jesus is more than I can express in words. I feel lucky. Almost all of my family are not believers. This is a great sadness to me and I pray for all of them, all the time. Only our daughter (thank God !) has come to know Jesus. I have many unbelieving friends as well as many Christian friends.
I understand that God does not always heal people physically, but that our prayers for comfort, his strength and support…do get answered. And that as believers, when we die, we will be with Him in Heaven, so much better than here, which is a great comfort when a Christian does not get healed physically on earth. I have experienced comfort and strength from my prayers, but not always physically healing for those I pray for, and not always the wisdom that I have requested to understand my loved one’s health problems. At times, those last 2 things have come much later, or in ways that are almost unrecognizable….at times not.
I understand the importance of stories like yours so that people remember to keep their faith, and pray fervently in dire circumstances. So that people know that miracles CAN and DO sometimes happen. What is hard to deal with, and hard to help others with, is when people are not healed physically, despite prayers and faith. Sometimes a story like yours can make people think that they did not receive healing because their faith was not strong enough, they did not pray enough or not in the right way. And maybe sometimes maybe that is true. And sometimes maybe that is not true. I don’t know. I just think it is all very confusing and hard to sort out. I think it is a very difficult area and people need more help in dealing with it. The difficulty of praying for, and trying to support, those who are suffering and are not Christians, is an even harder problem.
An example, one story. My good friend was raised in the church….although I don’t know how deep the theological teaching she received was….I suspect not very throrough. Their family lost her brother in the Vietnam war. Then, several years later, her sister in her 30’s, who she was very close with, died suddenly after 3 days, from a brain aneurism. The sister left a husband and 2 young children. My friend described how everyone was praying for her healing for 3 days in the hospital waiting room. My friend lost her faith when her sister died, she saw nothing good some out of that situation, and she has never returned to Jesus…..despite many very close friends she has who are Christians and her best friend (me) becoming a Christian at 50 yrs old. She now, herself, at 68, has been battling cancer. I, of course, pray for her, and tell her so. But she is fighting this battle with her willpower and intellect, and no faith that I can see. Maybe there is some there, she doesn’t talk about it. It’s very sad and I see the anxiety and emptyness it causes her, but I don’t think she sees it. She is a very warm person and well loved but not strong spiritually.
One more thought I want to share. On a whole different topic. This is referring to all the disease and suffering our world is experiencing. I am just sad that most people do not have the information I share below and do not have all the tools that might help them to experience greater health and less disease.
I have used and known about alternative medicine and healthy eating for many (40) years and practiced it to the best of my ability. None of it is perfect and it doesn’t always cure everything, of course. I, myself, have been been quite healthy so far, I may also have good genes and just be lucky. I think that the diet knowledge and practice has helped also. I know of many things that most people don’t know about and how we often cause our own diseases by the way we eat and live. Some of these ideas and knowledges are in the mainstream but most are NOT. I have some issues with western medicine….I think it is good for some things….but I believe they are ignorant about much. I could write a book about that…but I won’t. Probably our diets are not causing all of our diseases but I think they are causing way more disease than we realize. Our children seem to be a lot less healthy too than they were several generations ago. If you or anyone is interested in what I am saying…..check out this website
http://www.westonaprice.org/
This American dentist in the 1930’s….disturbed by the state of dental problems and devitalized health of his patients….. visited some of the few remaining cultures at that time, that were still untouched by western “civilization”, meaning our devitalized foods, because he had heard that these “primitive” people had perfect teeth and jaw alignment (despite not brushing and no dentists of course) ….and he found this to be true. He wanted to figure out why. He also found that they had NO diseases of “civilization”……tuberculosis (a crisis at that time), cancer, heart disease, dementia, diabetes….none of it. He discovered that the cause of their health was their diet (also, I would add, less poisoning in the air and water in growing that food, of course). Weston A. Price, the dentist who made these discoveries over a 10 year period of travel with his wife, wrote a book about what he learned and took a lot of pictures of peoples’ teeth (a window to health) before and after these cultures started eating our devitilized food. How quickly they deteriorated after changing their diet….,dental and general health….. is shocking.
The book:
“Nutrition and Physical Degeneration”
http://www.amazon.com/Nutrition-Physical-Degeneration-Weston-Price/dp/0916764206
The pictures are amazing. He identifyed the similar diet principles in the various cultures he studied and he experimented with some of his findings, helping some of his U.S. dental patients change their diet with good results, sometimes amazing results. These principles are mostly different from what we hear from our mainstream doctors and dieticians. After he died, some like-minded people started the “Weston Price Foundation” (link above) to bring his principles to the world in a bigger way.
There is also a researcher, gourmet cook and author who has several cookbooks out full of recipes and with tons of infomation gleaned from Weston Price’s research in the margins about this way of eating and road to real health. She was one of the founders of the Weston Price Foundation:
Sally Fallon Morrell main book “Nourishing Traditions” ( she has other books)
https://www.google.co.th/search?q=nourishing+traditions&rlz=1CAZZAC_enTH628TH628&oq=nourishing+traditions&aqs=chrome..69i57.5225j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8
My husband went to an alternative doctor in San Francisco who put him on the above diet…..eliminating grains also to get his carbs lower…..and we have been eating by these principles for about 3 years, mostly. We are living in Asia now where it is harder to get healthy meats and vegetables, like one can in the U.S…..but we do the best we can. This diet cured my husband (now 72) completely of type 2 diabetes and I lost 20 lbs without even trying and we both feel better.
There is more and more I could share on this…..but I will stop now. I wanted to make some of this info available to any of you that are interested because so few people (and especially I find for some reason….so few of my Christian friends)…..know about this healthier way of eating. It’s called a “nutrient dense diet” and it actually goes back to the way people ate in the US some generations ago…..there is much to eliminate from what we eat now….mostly de-natured foods….and much to add….powerful revitalizing healthy foods. My husband and I have tweeked this “Traditional nutrient dense” diet a bit….by also elimnating grains….to make it more low-carb….which goes along with the Paleolithic diet, which has cured many people of very intense intestinal diseases……see these young peoples’ dramatic health stories and how they were cured by diet. They now both have cookbooks and blogs with lots of info and good recipes: (So we personally are doing a combination of the ” Traditional Weston Price Nutrient Dense Diet” and the “Paleolithic Diet” which eliminates grains). I think most people could gain much health by incorporating as many of these principles as possible. You won’t hear about these ideas from your mainstream doctor, unless he is very unusual.

I am struģgling with chronic pain for over 2 years. Tried many things & meds & laying flat on my back 16-18 hrs a day is “interesting…lol Next stop is maybe an epidural…yikes. Then maybe surgery. I’ve decided that God is God, I’m not so I will keep trusting Him cuz He knows what He’s doing…He is trustworthy! God bless us all! Thank You.

Thank you so much for the reminder that God is my Healer, but as much as I do want to be healed I always say God’s Will be done, not mine as He can see the bigger picture whereas we can only see what is in front of us. I do not want to stop His Plan as it is much better than any plans I could ever make.

In my life, I have witnessed many times that when one life is taken to Heaven to end their suffering on this Earth many more lives were impacted, saved through that loss and God’s Glory was revealed. Many times the like this dear lady’s brother they were healed so that they may make an important Life Change and spread the Good News of the Gospel of Christ by sharing their Testimony.

I wish all fervent prayers ended in a miracle. In our case, my brother died after a year’s illness that remained undiagnosed until 2 weeks before his death. God hears all prayers but they don’t all end in physical healing. We have an Eternal home to look forward to. I just hate to see people disappointed if their prayers did not end up with the healing they prayed for. Praise God for hearing your prayer, and praise Him inspite of not hearing our prayers.
Pam R says
Sometimes God doesn’t answer our prayers the way we want them answered. My husband had a non curable lung cancer and he did not smoke. Sometimes God says no to our prayers. We had prayers from everyone we know and God did not answer our prayers for healing. He passed away on April 23, 2015 and it has been very difficult and the hardest thing I have gone through. We had our 27th anniversary on April 17. I pray for God’s will in my life and continue trying to do what he requested me to do is keep on living and keep the congreation together. He was our pastor. So the answer we receive from our prayers may not be the one we want. But I am keeping on keeping on knowing that God is with me.

Please keep my husband Jim in your prayers he is on his third drain tube in his chest. They have drained 8 liters of fluid off his chest and keeps filling back up the last tube is going to be injected with a clot buster to break up scarring in his chest wall which they think is causing the fluid build up. I have found many inspirational reading and they have helped me deal with long hospital stays. Prayer is a powerful tool

Thank you so much for the healing scriptures and encouragement today! Just last night I cried out to my husband of how tired I am physically, mentally and spiritually. I am a 30 Congentital Heart Defect survivor being born missing the right side of my heart. I have had over 10 heart surgeries and have been struggling badly in health for about 5 months now. I am scheduled for a heart cath in December and have been having many tests. God has always taken care of me through all the surgeries and struggles through life. That doesn’t mean that I don’t get discouraged and sometimes lose faith. Everyone please say a prayer for me during this time, I greatly appreciate it!!

I have a Rare Heart Malformation that does not show up until later in life called IST (Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia). I also have Left Ventricular Diastolic Dysfunction Grade Level 1 which means the heart tissue itself is dying. I also have a rare subtype of Migraine called Hemiplegic Migraine. I was just diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. They just found a 1cm rock hard nodule on the left side of my neck which could be Lymphoma. I am only 43 and was in the middle of planning our Vow Renewal. I had to quit taking my pain medicine as it was causing my Fibromyalgia to increase my physical pain at the same time making me more sensitive to it.

I am in high intense pain daily but I am thankful for each day I wake up and can breathe on my own and that I can see. I am losing my hearing though. I have Sensorineural Hearing Loss and will eventually need a Cochlear Implant that my health insurance will not cover at all.

I am so sorry you are going through all these things. I also have fibro and deal with daily pain and I hate it. I will be in prayer for you!

We had an intense discussion about this subject in our small group last evening. As a healthcare professional, I struggle with the concept that God always heals and that God is going to “shock the doctors”. Most healthcare workers do care about patients and are doing their best. As for me, I have a responsibility to maintain my credentials and provide the best care possible. I do pray for healing for patients but am acutely aware, that many, including Christians, refuse to take responsibility for their lifestyle, which in turn is causing the illness. Another issue is the condition of the heart, such as bitterness or hatred, that can cause physical ailments. Thank you for this wisdom and compassionate artile.

Please pray for my granddaughter Jamie, age 41, who has struggled with auto immune issues for 2 years and gets steadily worse. All the muscles in her body are affected, including swallowing and sight. She is a believer, as are most of us, her family. Your words and scripture have been very encouraging to me today. Thank you and God bless you.

I have been a first hand witness of God’s miraculous healing, too. Your blog and devotional really made me want to share what God has done through me. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor three years ago, at the age of 30. I had 2 young children and got very sick very quickly. Dealing with physical symptoms my church family, friends, Facebook friends, and everyone I know continually prayed for me for healing. I had brain surgery to remove the tumor that was pushing on the main vein between both lobes of my brain. There was a great fear or a stroke, amongst many other things they mention when going into brain surgery. I went home from the hospital 2 days later straight out of the ICU to my home. I, too, was able to not have any physical therapy even though I still dont’ have complete feeling of my left leg as a result of the surgery. God showed up in a mighty way in my life. It was a true miracle that it was found, God was with me even when it was one of the darkest and scariest times of my life. He literally walked ahead of me in every situation leading up to the finding of the tumor to the removal and after. He’s there, He cares, and He is always with us. I benefited from the prayers of my friends, there were literally hundreds praying for me and I still stand in awe of God’s mighty works. Thanks for sharing and giving me an opportunity to share!
Leah says
Betsy, thank you for sharing your miraculous story with us. I love what you wrote: “God was with me even when it was one of the darkest and scariest times of my life.”
It’s so true … even in our darkest hours, we are not alone. God is always with us.

Another scripture that my family and I have held onto as we dealt with my mother’s diagnosis of stage 4 cancer is: Mark 11:23: For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mama’s last scan showed no cancer present. It has been over a year since her diagnosis. We serve an awesome GOD!!!

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Thank you for sharing about your mama’s miracle, Carla. I believe it will encourage others today as they read your comments.

Leah says
Good Morning, Friends!
After reading through all the comments, I’ve taken time to pray for each of you by name – and for your loved ones who are going through health situations. Life is hard, isn’t it? And God knows we struggle with our questions of “why” and “why not.”
Even in the midst of extremely hard circumstances, God is with us. He hurts when we hurt. He grieves when we grieve. He created us for the purpose of living in Paradise, not in a broken world saturated in sin, sickness, disease and death. We may not understand it all today, but one day when we see God face to face, we will understand and know that He worked it all out for our good (Romans 8:28.) Until then, we receive hope through God’s Word by the Apostle Paul who suffered from a “thorn in the flesh”, which many biblical scholars believe was most likely a life-long illness:
2 Corinthians 4:16-5:9, “That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. 17 For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a [eternal] glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! 18 So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
“1 For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. 2 We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. 3 For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies.[a] 4 While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life. 5 God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit.
“6 So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. 7 For we live by believing and not by seeing. 8 Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. 9 So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him.”

Thank you for your encouraging devotional today. Our family has been having a very rough year and I needed to read this and to learn to trust God more each day. My son has broke his ankle and lives in Florida and I live in PA. This has been a difficult time for me, but I have been praying that God will comfort him and heal him quickly. Also, my nephew (age 27) died suddenly this year, after years of substance abuse. Please pray for my sister (his mother), who is having a very hard time with this situation. Our family knows that he is in Heaven rejoicing and not having to deal with anymore addictions, but everything is so final on this earth. The Holidays will be extremely difficult for the whole family

Thank you Leah for words and scriptures that touched my core. I have early on believed that our health is priceless. I have tried so often to keep my health good but it seems the more I try there is yet another health challenge to meet. Don’t get me wrong, I am still here and I thank God each day for that. However, I find myself looking around at seemingly healthy people or people who look like they have the energy and mobility of both David and Goliath lol! and think I want true health, I feel ragged and worn; tired. This year has been a trying time for me in terms of health. And now I am having what appears to be ongoing pains in my kidney area. I am praying it is nothing serious and that God will bring me through it. I pray to be healthy.

Thank you for your encouraging words this morning. I haven’t read Proverbs31 for many months and was led to take time to read it this morning. I know that God is in control and has designed and ordained all my circumstances for his purpose. But there are times when I get so weary and begin to doubt. My husband has been diagnosed with frontal lobe dementia and I have been dealing with chronic foot pain for the last 3 years; having had 3 surgeries with still no relief. I have had more tests and treatments of all kinds; traditional and non traditional to no avail. I believe that God heals and is healing. Need prayers and encouragement as there are times when I pray that the Lord would take me home. But I know that I am needed here right now to help care for my husband and be a light to others that God puts in my path. Please pray that I can remain strong in my faith as God continues to work through me in these trials. 5 years ago I was diagnosed with cancer and I experienced God’s healing. I cling to His promises and your scripture references are a comfort. Thank you
Dee says
I understand how you feel because I have been there as well. In fact I am going through yet another health challenge now, amongst other problems, and I continue to beseech the Lord and find the same pain and symptoms continue. We must remember that our God is sovereign and He is the Master of perfection in our lives, even when we don’t understand His behind the scene maneuvers. I pray that both you and I, and others who are facing struggles, will NOT cling to our struggles, as masters in our lives but rather that we try to look past them and focus on the Lord, the author and finisher of our faith.

This blog post and the devotional this morning really hit home for me today! I was healed of Bipolar and Depression after 25 years!! I praise God for that healing and I know that even though I had to wait a long time for it, it was in HIS timing! He was and is so good to me! My dad Joe is needing healing from memory loss and depression and we are lifting him up to God our Father and believing He will heal him also! It can be hard waiting, but His timing is perfect. I’ve prayed for the requests above mine, that our Father would touch them with His healing hands!! Have a blessed day!

I don’t understand how one prays in faith, knowing the outcome for healing could be being in heaven. This subject is really confusing to me. I have an autistic son so this topic has become hard for me to comprehend. I know God has provided for us along the way. I can’t find anywhere in scripture where Jesus didn’t heal someone.

Lovely story!!! I can say that God has been working in this body lately. I had a brain injury as a child which gave me seizures. My Mom took me to a church at the age of 17 that had a person there that has the gift of healing. I questioned God why He was healing others and not me, then He did touch me. The seizures slowed down and I am off my medications. I give Him praise and am thankful.

Please pray for my husband Tom. He has primary progressive aphasia…frontal temporal dementia. He fades more and more daily. A young man in his early 60s has so much life to give to others but is bottled up in his own world. Praying for our Fathers mighty release of his brain and tongue. Thank you!

Thanks so much for these insights and verses on prayer and healing. I’ve struggled with chronic daily headaches/migraines for over 20 years and have tried almost everything under the sun (medical and natural) to find relief-with no results..My faith and especially my prayer life has been a struggle, trying to keep on praying, but seeing nothing happen for so long has been frustrating, to say the least. Knowing that God can do it, but chooses not too, as I struggle through each day as a wife and mom, has been hard, I wonder why pray when God’s just going to do what he wants anyway? So, thank you for these verses and your insights today! Blessings…

Thank you, Leah! I also read your devotion detailing your brother’s miracle on P31’s devotional today. Such encouragement! Thank you. I am praying for healing for my friend Corrine, a new believer with many health issues for both her and her son. She’s facing hernia surgery soon, among other things. She and her family have come a long way since trusting Christ and I’m praying even this will draw them closer to Him.

His good days far outweigh the bad days. Please help us pray for Bryan DePoy as we start chemotherapy again for GODS grace, mercy, guidance and healing. Praise yin ou lord for another day and for bringing us this far!

My doctor found a very large complex cyst on my ovary. She has taken blood to check for cancer. I go back to her in four weeks. If it hasn’t healed I will have to have it removed. Praying there is no cancer and that it doesn’t rupture. I am believing God for a miracle because this was found at an annual visit I almost cancelled. Praising Him that I didn’t cancel and that I have not been in any real pain so far, which my doctor was amazed.
