Ready or not ~ Christmas is here!
I didn’t want this special time of celebration to pass without wishing you a Merry Christmas. So between baking and wrapping I decided to pause for a moment and send you this little Christmas note.
Consider it my digital Christmas card to you. A way of letting you know I’m thinking of you today and praying for God’s glorious presence to flow through every nook and cranny of your heart and home this holiday season.
May the redeeming love of Christ revive your soul as you reflect on the significance of that first Christmas night so long ago.
May the melody of Joy To The World replay in your thoughts until you find yourself humming along.
If you are in need of peace ~ Christ is your Prince of Peace.
If you are in need of healing ~ Christ is your Almighty Healer.
If you are in need of comfort ~ Christ is your Great Comforter.
If you are looking for light to illuminate the darkness around you ~ Christ is the Light of the Word.
If you need shelter from the storms of life ~ Christ is your Refuge.
If you are thirsty ~ Christ is your Living Water.
If you are broken ~ Christ is your Restorer.
If you are in bondage ~ Christ is your Savior
Christ is the King of Kings.
He is the LORD of Lords.
He is Immanuel ~ “God with us.”
Jesus, the Name above all names.
All blessing, honor, glory, power, might and thanksgiving be unto Him.
For every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all.
Friend, despite the difficulties that this life brings, we still have so much to rejoice over.
Let’s celebrate all that God has done for us through the birth of His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ.
Let’s celebrate and love others because God first loved us.
Let’s celebrate because we have victory and can do all things through Christ.
Let’s celebrate because Christ redeemed us and we now belong to Him.
Let’s celebrate because we have the promise of eternity and heaven as our permanent home.

Celebrate, my friend, for Christ is worthy of all our praise. Rejoice to the LORD for He is good and His love endures forever!

Thanks Leah! This has been a very hard year for me, yet through the pain I have grown so much in my understanding of who God is and who I am in God. Your posts have been a big part of that healing. thank-you for allowing God to use you 🙂

Heather, it sounds like you’ve discovered beauty in the midst of your year of pain. Experiencing a greater understanding of God is the silver lining of those seasons of difficulty. I pray that you have a greater awareness of Emmanuel ~ God with you.
