Can you believe it? Christmas in only 5 days away!
I’ve been trying my hardest to whittle down my Christmas to-do list but instead of checking things off, it seems like I’m only adding to it. How about you?
Do you still have gifts to buy?
Are you traveling over the holidays?
Will you be hosting family at your place?
Our family will be spending Christmas and New Years with our Louisiana loved ones. But I don’t want time to get ahead of me, or the holidays to come and go, without sharing a Christmas blessing with you.
One of my fondest memories as a child was going with my family to the midnight service on Christmas Eve. We would light candles and sing “Oh Holy Night” while I dreamed about presents that were waiting for me under the tree. It was beautiful and magical.
At the end of the service, our pastor would say a Christmas blessing. I can remember him standing at the front of the church, with his hands stretched out towards the congregation, making the sign of the cross.
The blessing he shared is the same one I want to pass along to you.
May the LORD bless you and keep you;
May the LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;
May the LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.
Numbers 6:24-26
Although we won’t be together for the holidays, I will be praying for you each day – asking God to fill you will His love, joy, and peace. And that the greatest gift you receive this Christmas season is His glorious presence.
Merry Christmas from my family to yours!

I enjoyed today’s devotional via Crosswalk/P31. God bless you for taking your time to share words of encouragement with other women (moms) like me.
Blessings,
Kelly

Merry Christmas to you as well Leah!! I was thinking of you last night as we had our Titus24U gathering and I shared about peace. The print out of your lists of verses held some of my notes! Today on my blog I shared a summary of what God had shown me over the last month in regards to peace. Thankful He used you in that process. Blessings and have a wonderful time with your family!! My little people are getting very excited…there was a reason God led me to study peace for a month!!

Jill, I’m so glad God used the verses on peace to speak to your heart – along with bringing a fresh persecutive to the Titus24U gals. His Word is life to us! May God’s gift of peace fill your heart with joy this holiday season as you trust in Him.
